CDL VARIANT
The game mode called “CDL Variant” is always a best of 3 or best of 5 that is played in the following order:
– For matches posted as a best of 1 or best of 3: Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, Control.
– For matches posted as a best of 5: Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, Control, Hardpoint, Search and Destroy.
For this game mode specifically, the non-hosting team will choose the map that will be played. For example, if team A hosts first, team B would be able to choose the hardpoint map that they want to play. The host is always displayed on the match details page, and the team that WINS the Search and Destroy would host map 3 Control.
Settings
If you are playing on an old gen console, you are able to request that your opponents increase the timer at the start of the game to prevent your team from loading into the game late.

Gunfight

HOST
The host of each map is listed on the match details page. The non-hosting team of the map gets to choose which team they begin on. For matches that go to the last map, the team that won or had the most rounds/points combined from the previous maps will host the last map. If the rounds are tied, then the team that hosted the first map would host the last map. For any Variant match that goes to the last map, the team that wins the Search and Destroy would be the hosting team for the last map.

Usage of Restricted Items
– Live Supported Matches: If a restricted item is used, it results in a forfeit of the most recent round played. Report any issues to an admin in your match chat.
– Ticket Support Matches: Using a restricted item results in a map forfeit, regardless of impact on the match outcome.
Live Supported Matches
Each team has 15 minutes from the scheduled match time to join/host their match. If the opposing team is not ready within this time, report a no-show in the match chat.
Ticket Supported Matches
Teams have 10 minutes from the scheduled match start time to join/host the match. Failure to do so could result in a forfeit.
Submitting Proof
All proof must be in video format, including the scoreboard and game information.
Activision ID
Your Activision ID must match exactly how it is displayed on your Call of Duty profile.
